I met Bobby Shipman at Harper Elementary....and he was my first real crush....had those dimples and

such a smile....we kept in touch over the years.

He did come to know Jesus, Lee and I had shared with him over and over, and one nite in our

living room Bobby accepted Jesus as Savior....

I saw him the day before he went home to Jesus...He was reading the Bible, in his hospital room...

He said, "Bobbie, Jesus is going to heal me,", He did, he went home to heaven the next morning.

He had a hard life, in and out of jail, and had a drug addiction, had Satan tatooed on his side and the

grim reaper on the otherside, but I know my good friend, Bobby is with Jesus...Praising God now...

So thankful for knowing him and being his friend since we were just kids....God has a plan and puts people

in our lives to minister His love to them....was an honor to share Jesus with Bobby!

He is missed....

Thanks for sharing Bobbie... God bless you for being instrumental in Bobby's Salvation...

2Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

It's strange when looking back at our lives how many of the 'rowdy crowd' found Jesus later on... God does place us in positions so He can use us in the future.... where worldly friends feel safe to confide in us because they know they can relate to us, being born again believers...  God does work in mysterious ways all right... Thank you Jesus!
