Barrett E. Cloud

April 25, 1945 - June 11, 2018

Barrett E. Cloud, age 73, a resident of Naperville, IL since 2015, formerly of Orange, CA, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home, under hospice care, after a 13 year battle with Parkinson's Disease and a short time with multiple myeloma. He was born April 25, 1945 in Santa Barbara, CA.

Beloved husband of Nancy Cloud (nee Willoughby), whom he married February 11, 1967, loving father of J. Edward Cloud of Winnipeg, Canada and Darrell (Laura) Cloud of Naperville, adored grandfather of Judah (11), Nalin (11), Rowan (9), Iris (8), Jax (5), Brea (5) and Jett (2).

Barrett's passions were electrical engineering, providing leadership within the churches where the good news of Christ's death and resurrection is proclaimed, sailing, backpacking and hiking in the Rocky Mountains with his group of Christian brothers, helping others, especially the developmentally disabled find their rightful place within the church.

A brief memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church of Aurora, 325 E Downer Pl, Aurora, IL 60505 (on the corner of Downer Place and South Fourth Street), (630) 844-0050, www.firstpresaurora.org beginning with a visitation at 3:30 and service at 4:00 pm.
